Daisy Fowler won third prize, also for printmaking.
Every year the work is selected by well-known and established artists and tutors from the Royal College, so this is a real achievement. Well done!
To be selected is such a great achievement in itself, but it has also helped us to raise funding for Great Ormond Street Hospital Cancer Research UK.
We look forward to seeing you at the exhibition in April. Keep an eye on this site for further information.
Thank you so much for all the fantastic entries and for helping us raise £80 towards Cancer Research UK and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Good luck with the competition!
Example of student entries
We are again participating in the Royal College of Art Young Art competition. The theme is ‘everyday life’ and the deadline for submission is 13th January to allow us time to pack the work to go to the RCA.
Our students have been successful in having their work selected for this prestigious occasion every year, but we need lots of young artists to take part and show their talent. So, if you enjoy painting,, drawing, printmaking… this is the challenge for you!
The rules for the competition are on the Art notice board in school and students are welcome to come to us for guidance or support. Please speak to your art teacher or check our notice board for times. Especially those of you who want to enter the printmaking category and might want to use our facilities.
Look forward to seeing your fabulous entries.
