Beck Forrest Memorial Garden

Over the weekend of March 15th/16th, the Beck Forrest Memorial Garden was completed—a special space created to remember and honour two of our students: Beck Cowan, who sadly passed away in November 2023, and Loren Coomber, who passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were joined by around 20 parents and students who generously volunteered their time to help bring this meaningful project to life.

The garden truly feels like a peaceful and special place, and we encourage you to visit whenever you can. After its completion, we took the opportunity to discuss the garden with students during a HWS Way Briefing, where we shared its significance and what it means to our school community.

A huge thank you to the Site Team, Finance Team, all those who contributed to the giving page, and the PSA for making this possible. We couldn’t have done it without your support! – Ms Burniston
