Year 10 Geography Field Trip to Walton-on-the-Naze

Over 90 Year 10 Geography students visited Walton-on-the-Naze on 27th/28th March. The sun was shining on this beautiful stretch of Essex coastline and we had 2 very enjoyable days.

The morning was filled with various fieldwork techniques including field sketches and measuring the gradient of the beach. These allowed us to find out how effective coastal management has been at protecting various stretches of the coastline. The students worked hard during the day and were a credit to the school. As a reward, the students had a fish and chip lunch before heading back to the coach. Well done year 10!
