Year 12 Geography Trip to North Wales
Mr Uyar wtites:
The Year 12 Geography students had an enriching experience in Betws-y-Coed, where they explored a range of erosional and depositional glacial features, as well as meltwater features. Before embarking on their fieldwork, students participated in preparatory classroom sessions led by glaciation experts, which provided a solid foundation for the practical sessions. In the evenings, they consolidated their learning through reflective discussions.
One of the key benefits of this trip is that it allowed students to engage with geographical features and concepts that can often seem abstract in the classroom, bringing them to life in a real-world context. I truly believe this experience has provided the students with invaluable knowledge, practical skills, and renewed inspiration.
