A huge well done and extended thank you to all those who helped out and donated food for the Hornsey Food Bank charity! Highgate Wood School managed to collect 7 full crates full of food for Hornsey food bank over the Christmas period. Once the food was collected, myself and a few students dropped off the food at Middle Lane Methodist church where we met the volunteering team who receives, sorts, packs and distributes all the food collected to those in need. The students received a full run down on how they operate, learning the ins and outs about the sheer effort and collaborating team work needed to allow for something like this to happen. A particular well done to well done to Charlotte Salt, Christian Medina, Jacob Inntoruk, Baylee-Maye Westcarr, Faisal Algaay and Samuel Sharpe-Hartley for their efforts in the Hornsey food bank drive handout!
