Primary Transition Open Events

We look forward to welcoming prospective students and parents/carers to our open events. These events provide an opportunity for prospective parents/carers and students to visit Highgate Wood School, where you will get to meet our staff and students and do a tour of the school.

PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENTS NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/CARER FOR ALL OPEN EVENTS

These events will take place on the following dates:

PRIMARY TRANSITION OPEN EVENING

Thursday 17th October – Primary Transition Open Evening (5pm – 7pm)

The Open Evening is an opportunity for prospective parents/carers and students to visit Highgate Wood School and meet staff and students, learn more about our school and our curriculum and hear from the Headteacher. Please use the entrance on Montenotte Road. There is no parking on site and limited parking on the roads. Wherever possible, please walk or use public transport.

Tours of the school will run throughout the evening and there will be three Headteacher’s speeches. These will take place at 5.15pm, 5.45pm and 6.15pm.

For the first Headteacher speech, there will be no tickets. Seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We anticipate that the hall will fill up very quickly. If you would like to attend the later speeches, tickets will be available at Reception when you arrive. These tickets will also go very quickly so please do arrive early.

There will be limited space available and seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Thursday 24th October – Primary Transition Open Morning (9.30am – 10.40am)

PROSPECTIVE SEND PARENT INFO EVENING

POST 16 OPEN EVENING

We look forward to welcoming our prospective Year 12 students and their parents/carers to our Open Evening on Thursday 14th November 2024.  The evening runs from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. 

The Open Evening is an opportunity for prospective parents/carers and students to visit Highgate Wood School. You will have an opportunity to meet staff and students, learn more about our Sixth Form and our courses and to hear from the Director of Sixth Form.

PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENTS NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/CARER

Tours of the school will run throughout the evening and there will be two speeches. These will take place at 5.15pm and 6.00pm. Seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We anticipate that the hall will fill up very quickly. Upon arrival you will be allocated a ticket at the School Reception for one of the two speeches.
