Diana Trust Anti-Bullying Training Day
Many thanks to the Anti-Bullying Pro and Diana Trust for their help in launching us on a new journey for anti-bullying and well being.
On Wednesday, Highgate Wood School hosted a Diana award anti-bullying training for other schools in the area. The training lasted all day and had a range of different activities for primary and secondary schools.
We started the day with a few icebreakers, getting to know the other schools and the team from Diana award training a bit better. Then the teachers went off to get an idea of how they can help and prevent bullying, while we enjoyed a range of activities focusing on training us up to become better anti-bullying ambassadors for our schools.
We really enjoyed getting to talk to lots of students from the other schools and in particular an activity, giving compliments to people all around the room via post it notes. It was very uplifting and had a strong meaning behind it at the same time. As well as this, the team from the Diana awards were really helpful and kept us concentrated and energised throughout. All in all, the day was very educational and we learned a lot as well as having a lot of fun and we will definitely be wearing our anti-bullying badges around the school proudly.
